Meet Dr. Greg D. Larson

Triple Board-Certified TMJ & Sleep Apnea Expert

Dr. Greg D. Larson’s dedication to relieving TMJ pain and sleep disorders stems from a deep passion for helping people live healthier, fuller lives. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific in 1999, Dr. Larson realized that to truly make a difference, lifelong learning was essential. He has since pursued over 4,000 hours of continuing education, including two residencies in TMJ and sleep therapy with pioneers in the field like Dr. Steve Olmos.

From 2007 to 2012, Dr. Larson trained and mentored hundreds of dentists at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), sharing his knowledge of TMJ and full mouth rehabilitation.

Dr. Larson holds three board certifications:

  • American Board of Craniofacial Pain (DABCP)
  • Dental Sleep Medicine (DABCSM)
  • American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM)

Dr. Larson doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. He offers advanced, regenerative therapies designed to heal the body naturally. With treatments like prolotherapy and platelet-rich fibrin injections, Dr. Larson targets the root cause of your pain, stimulating your body’s own healing process to repair damaged joints and tissue. Combined with trigger point therapy to relieve muscle pain and SPG Blocks for facial pain relief, his treatments are designed for long-term recovery.

Beyond the Practice

When he’s not helping patients, Dr. Larson enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters. A true adventurer, he has deep roots in the Carolinas and is proud of his family heritage. Dr. Larson is also a former Olympic Team alternate and an avid swimmer—he even became the 17th person to swim the full 23 miles of Lake Tahoe, a testament to his perseverance and love for challenges.
Dr. Larson’s dedication goes beyond clinical expertise—he truly cares about each patient’s journey to better health. With a commitment to providing a supportive, personal experience, he and his team at the Pain and Sleep Therapy Center are excited to serve both local and out-of-state patients, helping each person live pain-free and well-rested.
